Verified Emissions Reductions.

Generate carbon credits with our Verra-listed group project.

The Sea Forest Enteric Methane Reduction Grouped Project is a Verra-listed initiative designed to reduce enteric methane emissions from Australian livestock, using SeaFeed.

This grouped project offers producers a structured approach to achieve verified emissions reductions, that can be used against emission reduction targets or generate value by trading carbon credits. The project began on 8 February 2024 with the first instance at a Tasmanian dairy farm and will continue for seven years, with opportunities for other farms to join.

Farm participation requires the integration of SeaFeed into livestock diets and providing necessary data for monitoring and verification. Participants also need to comply with Australian legal and regulatory standards and provide evidence that the activities are additional and not legally mandated.

Through this project, participants can earn carbon credits under the Verra VCS Program. These credits can be traded or sold, offering both environmental and economic benefits. By joining this initiative, farms can contribute to significant methane reductions while gaining additional financial opportunities in the carbon market.
